To Do Today: Find Your Neighborhood’s Hidden Treasure!
There are days when you need to stay closer to home. Sometimes due to tight schedules. Sometimes due to nap time needs. Most recently, it could be these outrageous gas prices! Whatever the reason, it is always good to know the hidden treasures in your own backyard.
We had one of those days last week. Mommy had a doctor’s appointment in the morning and we needed to get in an outing, lunch and a nap before RJ’s swim class. It was beautiful outside so I wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous weather. My first thought was: Dino Park!
It’s not actually called “Dino Park.” I don’t think it has a name but one of the play structures reminds us of a dinosaur, hence, “Dino Park.” In reality, it’s a recently renovated playground behind the South Bowie Community Center and no one seems to know about it. It’s always nice and clean and virtually EMPTY!
So, when time is tight, make sure you know about your local hidden treasures! And, please let me know about them too! I promise I won’t tell!
