On Days I Want to Scream, I watch/read these!
Yup! I have many days when I feel just like this! Whether you are with your child 4 hours a day or (what feels like) 40 hours, these moments are bound to occur monthly, weekly, or even hourly! That’s when I seek the counsel of my hubby, my mom, and even a few images and videos I’ve seen during my 5 years of motherhood. Here are two that have made lasting imprints in recent months!
1) How quickly time flies…

2) …when you’re having fun!
“Don’t Carpe Diem” by Glennon Melton, The Huffington Post
“There are two different types of time. Chronos time is what we live in. It’s regular time, it’s one minute at a time, it’s staring down the clock till bedtime time, it’s ten excruciating minutes in the Target line time, it’s four screaming minutes in time out time, it’s two hours till daddy gets home time. Chronos is the hard, slow passing time we parents often live in.
Then there’s Kairos time. Kairos is God’s time. It’s time outside of time. It’s metaphysical time. It’s those magical moments in which time stands still. I have a few of those moments each day. And I cherish them.”

That was so insightful to me. It makes me realize that time waits for no one. As tired as we get or as frustrated, one day real soon our kids will be gone on to lead their own lives. So we’d better create those MEMORIES to look back on.
Mom, we’re still making memories!! Luv you!
